I have researched into the most common codes and conventions and the mode of documentary from these three documentaries. I chose these three documentaries specifically to research as their topics related to regional places. As well as the codes and conventions, I also analysed the reviews of each documentary from several different websites to find out how successful the documentaries were. I did this to see if the codes and conventions that they used made the documentary successful and therefore if I used these codes and conventions in my documentary, then possibly my documentary would be as highly viewed by my target audience.
