Draft 3 Feedback and Evaluation

Following my first drafts, I altered certain parts of my documentary to improve it, based on what I thought needed improving, some specific errors that I had originally made that needed correcting, and from feedback from some of my target audience. I collected the same group of five people that had originally watched my first and second draft to gather their opinions of my third and final draft.

In comparison to previously, all of my target audience said that they enjoyed watching my documentary (as one person was undecided last time), meaning that the changes that I had made to my documentary were for the better and improved it.

When asked if my third and final draft was better than my original two, the results were unanimous and all five participants believed that this draft was certainly the best out of the three.

I next asks my participants what made my documentary better in their opinion.

In comparison to my first draft, the third draft included way more information, including new topic such as the coal mining industry within Sunderland, Vaux brewery and Hylton castle. I had also corrected some errors that I had missed as well as adding appropriate music throughout. The participants noticed the new additions to my documentary (those being the facts and music) and said that that's what improved my documentary.

As one person originally said that they didn't enjoy my documentary, however they all unanimously said that they enjoyed it, it shows that the new additions to my documentary are what changed their opinion and made it more enjoyable for them,
