B2: Regional Identity

Documentary Research Updated from TillyBrown1 I have researched into the most common codes and conventions and the mode of documentary from these three documentaries. I chose these three documentaries specifically to research as their topics related to regional places. As well as the codes and conventions, I also analysed the reviews of each documentary from several different websites to find out how successful the documentaries were. I did this to see if the codes and conventions that they used made the documentary successful and therefore if I used these codes and conventions in my documentary, then possibly my documentary would be as highly viewed by my target audience.

Sunderland Culture Board from TillyBrown3 This photograph board is inspired by Sunderland's culture and includes some of Sunderland's most known places and venues as well as their football club. These are all things that I can potentially include and talk about the history of within the documentary.
